IN-HOME lifestyle design for your real AESTHETIC life

In-Home Lifestyle Design. Defined.

At the intersection of organization and interior design is lifestyle design. It’s the ease, beauty, and flow of a well-organized home. But also, space intentionality and event creation to foster connection, growth, and joy. When you have both, you become the designer of your life. Your home is the medium that makes life better.

Going beyond minimalism

Everything fits in your space. I promise. You don’t have to go for an all-white color palette or throw away the nostalgic pieces just to achieve that clean house look. There’s something beautiful about a well-lived home. I create that for you so you can live well in a home you love.

Hi, I’m Anita

Your In-House Lifestyle Designer

In a theater set, every item placed has a specific purpose. It’s that attention to detail that turns a show into an immersive experience. It has to be functional for the story, but beautiful for the audience. I’d know. I am a scenic designer with an MFA in set design based in New York City.

This is what I do for your home. Combining beauty, comfort, and ease to create an intentional space that you love living in.

At Home with CasaShrine: Testimonials

  • “Anita worked on both my kids’ rooms and the results were phenomenal. She has an incredible eye for knowing how to maximize space - something that we have little of in our apartment. She is not afraid to try something and if it doesn’t work, make changes. I was nervous at first because, while I do not fit the definition of a hoarder, I am an extremely sentimental person who has accumulated too much stuff over my pre- and post-kids lifetime. “Things” are very personal to people and our relationship with them is one that an “outsider” doesn’t necessarily understand. I have worked with people before who have pushed me too hard to discard items that I really didn’t want to get rid of, leaving me feeling regretful and resentful afterwards. With Anita it was different. She naturally “gets” the psychology behind why our lives feel better when we have less clutter, while also understanding why we want to have the things we have or why it may not feel like the right time to part with them.  She was patient and gave her point of view but if I was really set on keeping things, she worked with me to find an aesthetically pleasing solution that worked with the space, never once making me feel ashamed of myself. Anita is nothing short of a godsend and I look forward to working with her again in the future.”

  • “With just six weeks to plan our daughter’s bat mitzvah, we reached out to Anita in a panic. She quickly stepped in and listened intently to our vision, preparing a beautiful mood board that demonstrated how fully she absorbed my ideas. She sent me a flurry of links for suppliers/vendors and she quickly zeroed in on the time sensitive components, steering me toward pinning down the caterer and ordering long lead time items. Her calm demeanor helped reassure me. Working with Anita was an amazing experience. Her creativity and depth of experience makes her the partner you need when planning your next experience!”
